Who is National Capital Bible Church?

National Capital Bible Church, affectionately known as NCBC by our congregation, is a non-denominational, independent Bible church located in Northern Virginia.

We exist for the purpose of glorifying God through the presentation of the Gospel and helping believers on their journey to spiritual maturity, while also providing the opportunity for fellowship.

Meet Pastor Freddy Cortez

Alfredo I. Cortez, Jr. has been pastoring churches since 1990. He started out with the Baptist General Conference churches that had a particular interest on Filipino-Americans in the United States. Freddy has a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies (2003) and a Doctor of Ministry (2007). In 1998, Freddy founded Church of Hope (COH) and has been the pastor since. In 2004, he created Hope Bible Institute (HBI) with the goal of providing free seminary level courses to pastors, deacons, and church workers. HBI had two satellite schools in the Philippines and one in Cameroon, Africa but work was temporarily discontinued when Freddy suffered a medical emergency in 2018. He is happily married to Corrine and they are blessed with two daughters, Alex and Emily, and a son, Joshua. He has recently relocated to Virginia sensing a prompting from God and made possible by his wife’s recent active duty orders to Washington, DC.

National Capital Bible Church Pastor Dan Inghram

Meet Pastor Inghram

Knowledgeable on systematic theology, biblical exposition, and biblical Hebrew and Greek, Pastor Daniel Curtis Inghram served National Capital Bible Church from August 2005 to July 2022. A Marine Corps Veteran and Seminary adjunct professor, Pastor Inghram considered it a privilege to serve NCBC and the nation by studying and teaching the Word of God. Pastor Inghram, after 17 years of teaching, announced his retirement in July 2022.  Medical issues resulting from his brain tumor did not allow him to study and teach at a level he believes his Congregation deserves.  So, we all thank him for those many years of dedicated service to this church. On Oct 22, 2022, the NCBC gave a tribute to Pastor Dan Inghram for his 17 years of faithful service as the pastor the NCBC. Listen to the audio here.
